Columbia River, Oregon

Moscow was a lot of fun, but after 10 days, it was time to head west again. I took a scenic route through lots of farm country and then snaked along the southern side of the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon en route to Portland. It was very windy so the river had quite a chop to it.

This is the route followed by Lewis and Clark as they explored the Pacific Northwest.

Notice the snow in the mountains below.

This bridge crosses the Columbia in the town of Hood River.
