I forgot to post yesterday’s Pastry of the Day, which was some kind of fig-filled roll that I bought from this lady on the street:
Not too sweet, and very yummy.
This morning, I bought a cinnamon roll and latte. In both cases, I paid in Hungarian forints. To give you an idea about the challenge of the language and the math, here’s this morning’s receipt:
1902 Ft is $5.32. In other words, it’s very inexpensive to buy coffee and pastries here, but one deserves it for all the calculations one has to do to place the order and make the payment.
