Creede Winter

Here are a few more pix of our winter visit to Creede.

The view outside the window of our humble room in theatre housing.

Not surprisingly, Creede Rep has several theatre dogs. 
This one was perfectly at home in the snow and cold.

The view north of town.

The flume that carries the headwaters of the San Juan River. 
It runs through the middle of Creede and right behind the theatre. 
Apparently the water is contaminated by residue 
from now defunct silver mining operations.

It may not be potable, but it's beautiful.


Here you can see some of the old silver mining structures.
